Does the Samsung galaxy s3 come with an unlocked bootloader?

Ok so I know that on the verizon version it has a locked bootloader but I cant find the answer for boost mobile(my carrier) and I really need to know. I am trying to flash a custom rom and I do not want to brick my device because of the bootloader. Any help would be extremely appreciated, thanks...
